Train station

It is said that building the train station meant significant bloom for the small town of Kácov. The surrounding picturesque nature and the romantic river Sázava suddenly became easily accessible. Another thing that was in bloom was love in the film Dark Blue World.

Hanička, pilot František Sláma's (Ondřej Vetchý) girlfriend, also lived here. Together they spent many pleasant and happy moments in this place. They picked on railwayman Kaňka, whom Hanička was supposed to marry one day. Unfortunately, jokes turn into reality and nice moments suddenly cause bitter tears. This is where they learnt of the country's occupation by the German army. Unlike the enemy troops, you'll be most welcome in Kácov. The old buildings you'll see here, including the brewery and the castle, will surely amaze you.
