Rotunda on Hradišťko Hill
The Prague policemen only have one photo of the petty crook Honza (Kryštof Hádek). It shows him atop a hill with a Romanesque rotunda. Will they find its exact location? The search will be no piece of cake, but on the other hand, you get to visit loads of interesting places on your way.
The main protagonist of the film Grapes is bound to this place with pleasant memories. When he was a boy, he used to strike golf balls with his grandfather, whose vineyards spread below the hill. Hradišťko Hill mounts from the middle of the vineyards, and on its top you'll find a small Romanesque rotunda. However, it's not as old as one might think - it was built and consecrated no earlier than in 2002. From the hill top, the Pálava region will lie open before you. Whether you decide to walk up on foot or ride a bicycle, your effort is always sure to be rewarded with spectacular views of the surrounding lands.
