Municipal Library
Reading resembles tourism in many ways; in both cases, you get to visit interesting places and learn a thing or two on the way. What a priceless experience! Plus, you don't have to be rich to do either. You only need your eyes for reading and time to go visit places. So why not make a stop at Prague's biggest temple of books and knowledge, the Municipal Library?
The moment you walk into the entrance hall, you'll be welcomed by literally a tower of books. Don't forget to have a peek inside, you'll be surprised with what you'll see. Congratulations, you've just joined reading with tourism! Besides books, you may encounter interesting people here as well: the rejected stalker Ondřej from Loners, sitting unhappily on the staircase, or the cream of the society and the Emperor of Ethiopia himself feasting on celebratory meals in the reception hall in the film I Served the King of England. Just don't expect to be served a stuffed camel. You'd be told to leave at once, and no wonder - who would flip through a book with greasy fingers?
