Hrádek u Nechanic - Chateau
Icy dramas and a popular fairy tale were filmed at Chateau Hrádek u Nechanic. The charming location near Hradec Králove hasn't gone unnoticed even by Hollywood film productions.
Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp walked through the Golden Hall, as he was chasing the murderer of prostitutes in the bloody historical drama From Hell. The visit of the wonderful hall is part of both offered tours. The little Tudor-Gothic manor also attracted Czech Oscar-winning director Jan Svěrák who filmed his Dark Blue World here. The surroundings of the residence was thus changed to a British training area where pilots practised their war operations.
